Also, the Engineering Department will be hosting a High Heel Relay Race – more details to follow and 50/50 tickets will be sold.

Payroll Deduction Program is very important. Any amount is helpful. It is the easiest and best way to raise funds for the United Way. As little as $1.00/pay for 26 pays = $26.00/year – will buy a backpack with school supplies for one child in need. This is an excellent way to support the United Way Campaign. Our goal is to have 100% participation in the Payroll Deduction Program or one-time donations.

Challenges this year are:

Challenge 1: Any employee who participates in the Payroll Deduction Program or gives a one-time donation will have their name entered into the Parking Spot contest. At the end of the campaign one name will be drawn from all who participated; Prize is a dedicated parking spot for one year in your area. Provided by Dalhousie Safety & Security.

Challenge 2: The Department or Section with the highest percentage of employee participation will win “Coffee with the Dean”; Coffee and Mini Muffins, donated by Chartwells, will be supplied for a coffee break with the Dean after the campaign closes.

This should be a great campaign with lots to do and plenty of fun while helping a very worthwhile cause. All money raised in Colchester County stays in Colchester County.

So Join In and Participate in the Dalhousie United Way Campaign 2013 – Together we can achieve our goal!!

Thank you,
