Palliative Care for Children and Youth with Chronic Disease

Objectives: To carry out qualitative research and establish population based indicators of quality end of life care relevant to infants, children, and youth.

A play resulting from a journal kept by Ed, a 16-year old with advanced bone cancer, during his last four months of life. The play was commissioned by Dr. Gerri Frager, Medical Director of the IWKā€™s Pediatric Palliative Care Service and pilipiliĀž»­ā€™s Medical Humanities-HEALS Program.
