Undergraduate Programs

Undergraduate economics students may choose either a Bachelor of Arts (BA) or a Bachelor of Science (BSc) but not both.  The B.Sc. has higher mathematics and statistics requirements than the B.A. and the former is advised for students wishing to pursue graduate studies in Economics or Finance.  Under each of the BA or BSc degrees, degree options include:

  • Honours (Concentrated) (120 credit hours)
  • Combined Honours (120 credit hours)
  • Major (120 credit hours)
  • Double Major (120 credit hours)
  • Minor (90 credit hours)
  • Minor in Economics combined with degrees in other disciplines (120 credit hours)

* Economics degrees may be combined with Minor programs from other disciplines.
