Spring Refresher on Infectious Diseases
Dal CPE is excited to announce a 2025 Spring Refresher program. This event series focuses on timely and relevant topics for pharmacy workforce development in the Maritimes. Join us Saturday, March 29 for a full day of accredited training.
The morning will feature presentations on*:
- Acute bacterial sinusitis
- Critical updates in vaccines and vaccine assessments
- Interpreting and managing lab findings
*Virtual attendance will be available for the morning presentations.
The afternoon offers hands-on training on new scope of practice authorities. Participants will select from workshops on:
- HIV-PrEP prescribing and management of STIs
- Assessment, testing, and prescribing for pharyngitis
- Preceptor and educational development session

Spring Refresher Pediatric Injection Training Stream:
A Pediatric Injection Training Program (PITP) Stream will be offered with limited enrollment. This workshop requires completion of the online competency program. As a bonus, participants will gain access to some of the Refresher's presentationsÌýand workshops for additional CEUs.
