Security

When you unlock an exterior door, it will remain unlocked for 50 seconds or until the door is opened and closed. If you decide not to enter, don't just walk away; open the door and close it again, so that a stranger can't enter while it's unlocked.

Do not let anyone you don't recognize enter the building with you. Thieves look like everyone else and lie about why they don't have a card. For everyone's safety, there is ZERO tolerance for strangers in the building after hours. To report a stranger, call Security using the red phone in the studio or at 902-494-6400. Do not share your DalCard, PIN, or key with anyone: partners, relatives, taxi drivers, or pizza drivers. You are responsible for everyone's safety.
