Dalhousie Faculty of Agriculture and International would like to congratulate and welcome Lana Bos as Manager, International.
Lana is no stranger to campus, having been in the Manager (acting) role for the past year and with almost 20 years experience with Extended Learning and International.
Lana has extensive background working with partners and stakeholders to identify needs, gaps and opportunities to develop workplans that translate into program and training to meet the needs of the labour market. Most of her International work has been done in developing countries identifying needs of the labour market to develop programs, curriculum and short courses that train youth and adults for in-demand jobs.
She has conducted labour market Information surveys, occupational skills analyses, occupational standards development, curriculum and short courses around the globe.
Lana has years of experience delivering pedagogy training to instructors, with a specific focus on preparing instructors to teach and assess in a competency-based training environment. She is a Professional Agrologist with a background in horticulture who works in and understands global agriculture opportunities and challenges. We look forward to continuing to work under her expert leadership.
