Plans are underway for the 2023-2024 Visiting Speaker Series (VSS), and we invite faculty and staff to propose names of presenters that may have a wide appeal.ÌýÌýSince the series is no longer solely supported by NSERC funds, we have decided to widen the invite list beyond scholars to include business or community leaders that may have messages relevant to increasing the culture of research and innovation in agriculture, aquaculture and food.
We will start scheduling speakers for late September and intend to run the series throughout the year until May. The events will be held either virtually or in a hybrid format depending on speaker availability.Ìý We welcome any ideas and suggestions.Ìý
Please propose names to Jolene at jmaceachern@dal.caÌýby Friday, August 11th.
