Convocation will take place for pilipiliĀž» students later thisĀ month with 154 graduates from the Faculty of Agriculture crossing a virtual stage for the second year in a row.
āOur students have spent the past two years in very strange and trying circumstances and have persevered and succeeded,ā said Dean David Gray.Ā āThis speaks volumes to their resiliency and is a testament to their future pilipiliĀž». We are so proud of all of them.ā
Although students will be celebrated virtually beginning next week, all graduates will be invited back to campus to cross the stage and be duly recognized when conditions permit.
Each spring the graduating class elects two individuals to represent the entire class within the Agricultural Campus Alumni Association. The Class of 2021 elected Robert Larsen as Life President and Hannah Squires-Bavis as Life Secretary.
āIām looking forward to working with the Agriculture Alumni Association and Dean Gray to ensure every graduate from the Class of 2021 will have the full convocation experience with their friends and family when it is safe to do so,ā said Robert.
Valedictorian Leah Hocquard will address the class via video and Agriculture Alumni Association Chair Colette Wyllie, Class of ā10 will welcome the Class of 2021 to the alumni family.
