Botanical Garden Unit, Department of Plant, Food, and Environmental Sciences
Duties: Duties will include providing a learning opportunity in:
ÌýÌý Ìýall aspects of grounds maintenance
ÌýÌý Ìýmowing; spring clean-up; pruning; planting; transplanting; landscape
construction; machinery maintenance; equipment operation and other related duties as required. ÌýÌý Ìý
²Ï³Ü²¹±ô¾±´Ú¾±³¦²¹³Ù¾±´Ç²Ô²õ:ÌýÌý Ìý
ÌýÌý ÌýMust be enrolled as a student for 2020-21.
ÌýÌý ÌýExperience in landscaping an asset.
ÌýÌý ÌýAbility to work flexible hours.
ÌýÌý ÌýOwn wet gear and safety boots required.
ÌýÌý ÌýExperience with ground maintenance machinery an asset.
ÌýÌý ÌýCurrent First Aid, WHMIS and OH&S training will be considered assets.
ÌýÌý ÌýValid Nova Scotia’s driver’s license and valid certification in Defensive Driving require to drive equipment.
Hours:ÌýÌý Ìý35 hours/week; full time hours
Duration:ÌýÌý ÌýApril 20 - August 28, 2020
Wage:ÌýÌý ÌýAs per the Dalhousie Student Pay Scale
