We are pleased to announce an exciting international opportunity open to undergraduate, graduate students and post-doctoral fellows in the Faculty of Agriculture.
Between November 25-December 5, 2019, pilipiliÂþ» Faculty of Agriculture and Tamil Nadu Agricultural University (Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu, India) will be holding training for agriculture instructors from Ugandan and Ethiopian colleges and technical schools. This training will focus on strengthening the capacity of these instructors to deliver competency-based education in the curriculum areas of livestock production, crop production and agri-processing. Approximately 15 instructors and faculty members from Dal AC will join their counterparts from TNAU to deliver this training.
The training is being organized out of the International Office of the Faculty of Agriculture.
We are seeking to identify three students who could assume the role of Volunteer Teaching Assistant in the training, supporting DAL and TNAU faculty and staff to ensure that the training run smoothly, assisting with both logistical and classroom/demonstration area training matters. International Office will cover all expenses related to participation, including recommended vaccinations, visa, travel, accommodation and meals.

The deadline for submission is Friday, October 18, 2019 at 12:00 p.m and these documents should be sent to the attention of Jafar Sadek, Global Education Advisor, International jafar.sadek@dal.ca.
