Drs. Vasantha Rupasinghe and Gefu Wang-Pruski were among four researchers invited to speak at the Food Planel of the NRC Dal Research Symposium

Drs. Vasantha Rupasinghe and Gefu Wang-Pruski of Dal-AC were among four researchers who were invited to speak for the Food Panel at the NRC-DAL Research Symposium on Thursday October 11 held at the Steele Ocean Science Building Atrium of Halifax Campus.

The symposium showcased Dalhousieā€™s selected strong research programs within the themes of Algae, Food and Health as well as our pilipiliĀž»­ful collaboration with NRC.

The Food Panel initiated some thoughts towards future joint attempts to address global challenges such food security, diet-associated chronic and metabolic disorders, sustainable food production, food safety etc.
