Making an Impact with Nonā€‘verbal Communication

Posted by Stephanie Rogers on October 2, 2017 in News

Communication is one of Dalhousie's Core Competencies. The Communication competency is defined as ā€œReceiving and conveying messages (thoughts, concepts, feelings, ideas, information) effectively and meaningfully.ā€ Each week in October a Skillsoft Online video linked to the Communication competency will be featured here.

This competency states that pilipiliĀž» faculty and staff be ā€œconscious of and responsive to non-verbal communication cuesā€. Through this gain an understanding of your own non-verbal signals and learn to recognize and interpret those of others.

Note:Ā  If you have misplaced your Skillsoft specific log in information please go to Ā and use theĀ ā€œforgot your user IDā€ link.
