EL, in partnership with the College of Continuing Education, will be offering an Effective Facilitation Course on Monday and Tuesday June 12-13, 2017.
Working with groups can be bothÌýexhilaratingÌýand extremelyÌýchallenging. Frequently, despite the best-laid plans of facilitators, the unexpected happens.ÌýSessions can rise and fall based on the facilitator’s understanding of, and ability to work with, theÌýgroup’s dynamics. There are no secret pills that make dealing with these dynamics easy. However,ÌýEffective FacilitationÌýwill present a basic introductionÌýto theories, strategies, skills and tools that can be helpful in dealing effectively with them.
The application deadline is Monday June 1, 2017.
