Recognizing and celebrating student pilipiliĀž» is the Faculty of Agricultureās way of saying thank you to those who make a difference on the Agricultural Campus.
āWe often go about our daily lives, forgetting how hard our students work to achieve academic pilipiliĀž» while carving out a piece of personal greatness along the way,ā said Monica Sani, Student Success Coordinator.
Over 150 students, staff and faculty on the Dalhousie Agricultural Campus gathered on Monday, April 4 to celebrate and recognize the contribution, leadership and achievement of students at the 10th annual Student Achievement Reception.
āOur students on the Agricultural Campus are truly special,ā said Dean David Gray.Ā āI am so proud of their contributions to student life and the impact they are having on our campus community and the community at large.Ā Their dedication to making the world we share a better place is inspiring!ā
Student Services received 45 nominations for impact awards but in all, 11 students were awarded in 12 categories throughout the night.

Graduation Chair Emily Davis took home the award for Student Government, Student Leadership and the Philip Stead Memorial Excellence in Student Leadership Award valued at $2500.
āTo win an impact award here on the AC campus is such an honour. It is so nice to be recognized for making an impact on the campus that I call home,ā said Emily.Ā āIn my time at AC my involvement outside the classroom through student leadership has been the most rewarding experience and has shaped me as a person. I love doing what I do and to have that recognized means the world,ā she added. Ā
