Position:ÌýSessional Lecturer – Winter 2016
Department:Ìý Environmental Sciences
Pay Rate:Ìý $6,681 - $7,924 (inclusive of 4% vacation pay)
Work Assignment:ÌýÌý This sessional lecturer will teach Lectures and Labs for ENVA4006 Air, Climate and Climate Change for the period of September – December 2015.Ìý The class is currently scheduled for Monday, Wednesday and Fridays.Ìý The sessional lecturer will be responsible for all aspects of teaching and administering the class, including lectures, running labs, test preparation and evaluation.Ìý The position reports to the Chair of the Department.
At least one year experience in teaching in a postsecondary educational institution. Excellent oral, written communication skills, Collegiality and interpersonal skills. PhD in Air, Climate and Climate Change; Environmental Sciences, Environmental Studies or a related discipline OR Masters in Environmental Science, Enviornmental Studies, Climatology or a related discipline is required.
