Think you're smart?
Then we’ve got a challenge for you! Assemble your team of four and prepare to do battle in Brain War – our brainiac, smackdown fundraiser of epic proportions! Based on the STEM (science, technology, engineering, math) areas of study, and including the Arts (STEAM) as a testing component, Brain War is an ambitious, challenging, but fun competition designed to crown the smartest team in Nova Scotia.
February 21, 8:30 – 5:00, Saint Mary’s University
There are three categories – High School, University/College and Open/Corporate. Team registration for the Open/Corporate teams is only $1,000 with all funds directly supporting the ongoing mandate and work of the Discovery Centre.
Last year at the inaugural event, Jasco Applied Science took away the crown and bragging rights. This year they’re back to defend their title.
But we think you’ve got game!
So go ahead and prove it. But, choose your team wisely. It’s not just about smarts – it’s a six-hour, intellectual, emotional and creative marathon. It’s also the most unique team-building event in Halifax. And, it’s a stellar opportunity to support the not-for-profit Discovery Centre while you’re at it. And we think that’s very smart!
