During the ongoing transition following the NSAC-Dalhousie merger, print volume at the Agricultural Campus Print Centre has fluctuated, and an overall decrease in printing has been identified. In order to operate as a self-supporting unit offering quality print services to faculty, staff and students at the Agricultural Campus, the following price adjustments are required.
Black & white printing is now $0.03 per impression, up from $0.027. Colour printing is $0.29 per impression, an increase from $0.26. This is the equivalent of a 10% increase and is effective on all Print Centre services and supply items as of May 2013.
Even with the increase, prices remain competitive and in most cases, lower than market rates.
As operations stabilize post-merger, printing services will be continue to be assessed with the aim of supporting the requirements of the Faculty of Agriculture through a cost effective and convenient service. For more information, please contact Lisa Matthews, Printing Services Manager, (902) 494-1732 or lisa.matthews@dal.ca.
The Print Centre offers digital colour and black & white printing and copying; large format posters and signage; binding and finishing services; and desktop publishing.
