April 9: Update on Economic Adjustment
The DPMG has received many requests for updates around timing of the economic adjustment, both retroactive and future, as originally discussed at the February General Meeting.
The following update has been provided by Human Resources:
“Each year, Dalhousie’s Board of Governors receives recommendations for annual salary adjustments for senior leaders and DPMG employees to reflect changes in cost of living. In establishing annual salary adjustments, consideration is given to internal comparability with other Dalhousie employee groups, as well as external factors.
This year, the Board’s Governance and Human Resources Committee will be meeting in June to consider salary adjustments for the 2018-19 and 2019-20 years. Decisions on salary adjustments will be communicated to DPMG members at that time. Any questions about DPMG compensation can be sent to Human Resources at employee.relations@dal.ca.”
Please don’t hesitate to reach out should you have any questions at 賾岹.
