Join us for an engaging discussion on navigating university life as a person of colour. We’ll explore strategies for overcoming isolation and imposter syndrome, and connect you with resources dedicated to supporting the Black community. Plus, enjoy great food, haircuts, and complimentary nail services (available on a first-come, first-served basis) while you chat and connect.
We're excited to offer this event as a dedicated space for those who self-identify as Black, ensuring a comfortable and supportive environment. If you don't identify as Black, please feel free to explore our other events this week, which welcome the entire Dalhousie community!

Lights, camera, action! Celebrate the trailblazing Jackie Shane—a Black transgender R&B singer who rocked Toronto’s 1960s music scene. Enjoy her inspiring story on the big screen, savor some tasty bites, and join a spirited debrief session led by Olivia Fader, Dalhousie’s very own 2SLGBT+ advisor.
