Boots n' Blooms

Boots ā€˜nā€™ Blooms is an annual tradition on the Agricultural Campus ā€” a day of sweat equity from green-thumbed volunteers from the Ag community.

Due to the extreme heat forecast Boots 'n' Blooms has been cancelled for 2024.

This event is rooted in collaboration and teamwork. Boots 'nā€™ Blooms is a testament to theĢżFriends of the Garden, a mighty group of volunteers who have donated countless hours of their time over the years to help maintain the gardens on campus.

Participate in teams and take part in some of the following activities:

  • prune a shrub or vine
  • plant an annual
  • edge a bed or walk
  • weed a garden
  • garden with a friend
  • mulch a planting
  • add some plant labels
  • wash a bench
