Project Summary

Currently, fatigue is reported to be the most distressing and least well controlled symptom across many chronic conditions. The Packer Managing Fatigue Program, first published in 1995, has the strongest evidence of effectiveness across all non-pharmacological interventions for fatigue and is available in multiple languages and delivery methods. In order to improve accessibility of this evidence-based intervention, the Packer Managing Fatigue ProgramÌýwas created. The Program was created by an international group of clinicians and researchers with the goal of a) increasing client and therapist access to the Packer Managing Fatigue ProgramÌýand b) disseminating the evidence surrounding the Managing Fatigue program. The Packer Managing Fatigue Program, which is currently being developed, will be a website-based platform that allows both clients and therapists to learn about the Packer Managing Fatigue Program. Occupational therapists interested in administering the intervention can register and complete their training via the Fatigue Program and access the intervention manuals and content.
