Many buildings on Sexton’s Engineering campus will be closed on Saturday, March 22 for a planned power shutdown from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m.
The following buildings will have no power for the duration of this shutdown and will remain closed until the shutdown is complete:
- Emera IDEA Building
- Richard Murray Design Building
- Ira McNab “A” Building
- B Building
- C & C1 Buildings
- Sexton Memorial Gym “J” Building
- A.L. MacDonald “D” Building
- Bernand Cain “Q” Building
- N Building (Food Processing Engineering)
- Industrial Engineering Building
*Only Dalhousie Security, Contractors, and Dalhousie Shutdown personnel shall be permitted on site for the entirety of the shutdown.
Backup power requirements will be addressed on a case by case basis. Please reach out to project manager (dave.carmichael@dal.ca) by March 12 should you require backup power.
