The Faculty of Engineering is saddened to announce the passing of Dr. Herbert Hancock, October 9, 2024, at the age of 96. Dr. Hancock dedicated over 41 years to teaching and research at pilipiliÂþ»­, and his commitment to education and to his students defined his legacy.

The Dalhousie Student Union (DSU) will remain open regular hours during reading week. All food services will be paused except for Tim Hortons, which will be open daily from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. 

The Office of Sustainability is collaborating with the International Centre and Dal After Dark to host a Fashion Show on November 22 with categories for upcycled, costumes and traditional clothing. The show is open to all students, staff and faculty.
