Please be advised that there will be a mandatory fumehood shut down for maintenance in the Tupper Building on the weekend of October 26-27.
Building Services will be around Friday, October 25 at 1 p.m. to lock out the fume hoods and they will be back online Sunday, October 27 by 8 p.m. Â
In advance of this work please:
- Power down and/or disconnect any laboratory equipment which may create fumes/vapours/aerosols and/or heat.
- Turn off any process gasses, process liquids, or water supplies to equipment.
- Properly stopper /cap  and store all laboratory chemicals that may be present within the laboratory area.
- Fully empty  all fumehoods of chemicals and close all fumehood sashes.
