We are a group of Dalhousie researchers in the Faculty of Health. We are conducting a study, entitled “The Reliability of a Biomechanical and Electromyographic Assessment of Shoulder Function during Lifting in Healthy Adults.” The intent of this study is to develop a reliable and standardized protocol for measuring how the shoulder works during standardized lifting tasks.
This will aid future research examining shoulder function in clinical populations. You are eligible for the study if you are 50 years of age or older and do not have a history of shoulder pathology, injury, or surgery.
We are currently recruiting participants for our reliability study. If you are interested in finding out more about this study, please contact us at jar@dal.ca
Participants will be entered to win one of five Dalhousie Bookstore gift certificates.
