Since launching last fall, One-Minute Meeting has offered a quick, easy and unique way for members of the Dal community to get to know more about their colleagues by nominating them to answer a few short questions for sharing in the Today@Dal newsletter.
We've learned a lot about people from all walks of life at the university through the regular feature. Now, with a new year dawning, we've decided to refresh our approach to the series a bit by offering those who are nominated more choices when it comes to the questions they can answer. We'll still ask each nominee what their favourite part of working at Dal is, but we'll also look to gain a wider variety of insights from those we feature with a choice of the following questions:
Which has been more valuable in your career, your education or your experience, and why?
Ìý
What is one daily habit you've adopted that you feel has benefitted you in your work?
When you're feeling tired or worn out, what is your go-to strategy for regaining balance?
Is there a quote that motivates you?
What’s the most surprising thing we might see on your resume/cv?
We're hopeful these questions will offer useful tidbits and allow us to get to know each other better. The underlying format remains unchanged: Three questions, each answered in 150 words or less.
Responses will be featured in Today@Dal periodically as we get submissions. Nominate someone now by sending a note to: today@dal.ca
Happy new year!
