October 20, 2021 is International Pronoun Day ()
This day reminds us all to make respecting, sharing, and educating about personal pronouns commonplace.
It's important to refer to people by the pronouns they determine for themselves — it's foundational to human dignity. Transgender and gender non-conforming people are particularly affected by making assumptions about pronouns. By normalizing pronoun sharing, we can stop assuming and celebrate people’s varied, multiple and intersecting identities.
