The Student Accessibility Centre is the responsible unit for the administration of Dalhousie’s Student Accommodation Policy. The centre has a streamlined process for determining student accommodations intended to reduce barriers to access. Once determined, approved accommodations are communicated to the student’s professor/s (or centrally depending upon the Faculty) by Student Accessibility Centre staff.
If you have not received formal notification from the Centre, there are no formal accommodations in place. It is important for students to request accommodations through the appropriate channels so those seeking accommodations, including mask exemptions, are to contact the Student Accessibility Centre (Halifax) or Student Success Centre (Truro).
