For the individuals who have reached maximum Canada Pension Plan (CPP) and Employment Insurance (EI) contribution levels in 2020, your contributions will recommence in January 2021.

For the 2021 tax year the maximum contribution levels are:

CPP: $3,166.45 based on an annual maximum salary of $61,600
EI:  $889.54 based on an annual maximum salary of $56,300
