CASUAL WORKER POSTING DALHOUSIE UNIVERSITY Halifax, NS B3H 3E2  

DEPARTMENT/LOCATION: Earth and Environmental Sciences, Faculty of Science

This position is for 25 hours  

RATE OF PAY: $16/h (+ 4% vacation pay)   

PERIOD OF EMPLOYMENT: December 2020  

WORK ASSIGNMENT: The employee will be responsible for assisting the primary instructor with developing online materials for the Winter 2021 delivery of ENVS 1200 Current Environmental Challenges. Responsibilities will include 1) helping find online content and data for use in assignments, testing refining assignment instructions, setting up some areas in Brightspace, and other duties as required.  

REQUIREMENTS: The employee hired should have a background in Environmental Science, strong writing and research skills, and be familiar with using Brightspace.
