We are recruiting participants who have experienced now or in the past stress, negative thought, depression, anxiety, low mood, and panic attack based on self-diagnosis which impact their ability to fully engage in functions and activities such as learning, feeling and expressing positive and negative emotions, forming and maintaining good relationships with others to take part in a study. The study aims to design a mobile application to improve mental health and well-being. The study will contribute to the research area of persuasive technology for mental health and well-being. Participants will take part in a  focus group study  (They will be only men or only women ) where they will discuss some questions related to mental health issues and their needs and concern in relation to mental health and well-being applications. Participants must be 18 years and older.
In the focus group session, you will meet with the researcher and other participants on the 4th floor of the Mona Campbell building, pilipiliÂþ». In this session, the researcher will explain the study, and get consent. The researcher will ask questions about mental health issues, and participants' needs and concerns about designing mental health and well-being applications and you will discuss it with other participants in the group. This should take about 40-60 mins. You will be entered in a draw to win a $50 prepaid visa card.
