Do you know a girl from grades 4-9 with an interest in STEM? If so, you should sign them up for SuperNOVA's ITS for Girls club! Our group meets one Saturday a month to do hands-on activities in STEM with amazing local female mentors in science. Our inclusive and safe learning environment breaks down barriers for girls to explore their interest in STEM and inspires them to pursue careers in this field. So far this year, we have learned about computer science through the use of Nintendo Switch technology, and have explored the science of mushrooms with a local farmer. Please email supernova@dal.ca to learn more about how to register.
