Submit Your Entry!
The Science As Art calendar would not be possible without submissions from the Faculty of Science community (current and past!). All photos and images submitted are carefully considered before 13 are chosen to make their way onto the pages of the following year’s Science As Art calendar.
Traditional photographs as well as images generated by data visualization techniques or scientific tools are encouraged.
Submit your entry here by February 23, 2018 at 11:59 p.m. Atlantic Standard Time.
Past submissions include sunsets, insects, axon fibers, LiDAR imaging, animal encounters, genetic diversity mapping, plasma globes, protoplasts, a superconductor levitating on a rare earth magnet, triple immunolabeling for serotonin, and more. The subjects of photos and images are limited only by your imagination.
Winning submissions are chosen based on online voting, their scientific nature and their ability to reflect different departments within the Faculty of Science. Online voting dates will be announced shortly after the submission deadline. Owners of photos will be contacted if their eligble submission makes it through to the voting round and again if their submission is chosen to be featured.
