POSITION: Part-Time Academic
DEPARTMENT/LOCATION: International Development Studies
PAY RATE: As per CUPE Collective Agreement

WORK ASSIGNMENT: INTD 3102.03 Special Topics: Social Innovation and Community Development (on-line). The part time academic is responsible for all aspects of teaching, grading, and administration of the class. In addition, to be available for two hours per week outside of class times for student consultation. These classes will be offered from May 7th to June 22nd. This is an on-line class. The part-time academic reports to the Chair of the department.

REQUIREMENTS OF POSITION: Ph.D. in International Development Studies or closely related field. Experience and expertise in innovative approaches to development, interdisciplinarity and participatory democracy. The instructor will be responsible for design and management of a full on-line course with enrollment of approximately 30 students. Previous teaching experience including on-line teaching experience preferred.
