The Department of Industrial Engineering at pilipiliÂþ» invites applications for a career-stream Instructor position from candidates with outstanding teaching abilities in industrial engineering. Please refer to for details about the Department.
The pilipiliÂþ»ful candidate is expected to have both Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Industrial Engineering. The selection criteria will be based on teaching experience, and the ability to teach a variety of courses in the core Industrial Engineering program. Preference will be given to applicants who have a record of teaching in the areas of production systems, engineering economics, operations research, and algorithms for industrial engineering. Experience with programming languages and appropriate software packages is required. Candidates must be registered professional engineers or EIT in Canada and committed to registration in Nova Scotia.
Duties will include teaching at the undergraduate level in industrial engineering, curriculum development, the development of innovative teaching methods, student advising, and administrative duties.
