Institutional Multimedia Technology: Panopto
What are the best practices related to media creation and how can it be incorporated into our teaching and students’ learning? Dalhousie now has an institutionally supported media streaming, screen casting and lecture capture technology called Panopto. In this session we will share how you might incorporate this technology into your teaching practice, some potential student use scenarios, as well as a live demonstration of the software. There will be opportunities for discussion about how learning analytics could inform the most effective use of this media in blended and online learning. We look forward to your questions and learning more about the opportunity this innovation provides to your practice.
Tuesday, March 21, 2017 from 1:00 to 2:00 pm in the Killam Library, Room B400.
