The Gerhard Herzberg Canada Gold Medal for Science and Engineering, which comes with $1 million in funding, is awarded annually by the Natural Sciences and Engineering Reseach Council (NSERC) of Canada.
The award honours Canadian researchers who are recognized internationally for demonstrating āsustained excellence and influenceā in their fields.
