Both University policy and provincial regulations require that individuals working with chemicals receive WHMIS (Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System) training.

The next WHMIS training session will be located in Room 3H1, Faculty of Medicine, Tupper Building on Thursday, July 17th 2014 from 10:00 am to 11:30 am.

This session will primarily be targeted to those working in research laboratories, however, people working with chemicals in other settings will also find this session helpful.

It is strongly recommended that individuals trained more than 3 years ago, also attend these sessions.
