Atlantic Canada鈥檚 top business and academic thought leaders are meeting today as part of an ongoing effort to help our region succeed in a changing global economy.

This year鈥檚 4Front Atlantic Conference is the culmination of three years of work to develop ideas on how to best transform our economy. Its report 鈥淎t the 4Front: An Action Plan for Atlantic Canada鈥� is available for feedback on

Three Dalhousie leaders are among the speakers. University of King鈥檚 College President and Vice-Chancellor George Cooper helps kick off the event that includes panel discussions with Dalhousie鈥檚 Assistant Vice-President Industry Relations Stephen Hartlen and Dalhousie鈥檚 incoming president Dr. Richard Florizione.

Dr. Florizone will be speaking between 2:30 and 4 p.m. on a panel moderated by CBC National News anchor Peter Mansbridge.
