Track and Field

The track and field team competed in the SMU Open on Saturday at the Canada Games Centre. Aidan Goslett won the 1500m race in a time of 3:47.53, lowering his Dalhousie record and auto-qualifying for nationals. Cara MacDonald won the 1000m also setting a new Dalhousie record with a time of 2:48.67.

Chelsea MacIsaac travelled to Windsor, Ontario to compete in the Windsor Team Challenge. She finished fourth in the weight throw with a distance of 17.00m, qualifying for U SPORTS. She also finished second in the shot put with a throw of 13.50m, qualifying for U SPORTS and breaking her own Dalhousie record in the event.

Women’s Hockey

The women’s hockey team secured their 14th regular season win on Saturday, the most regular season wins in program history. They followed that up on Sunday with a 4-1 win over the Mount Allison Mounties.
