Dalhousie remains top performer in the 2023 Sustainable Campus Index

Dalhousie placed fourth for Purchasing and tied in fifth place for Coordination and Planning in this year’s Sustainable Campus Index.

Published annually by the (AASHE), the Sustainable Campus Index recognizes top-performing sustainable colleges and universities across 17 impact areas, as measured by the (³§°Õ´¡¸é³§).Ìý

Dalhousie received full marks for its sustainability Coordination and Planning efforts. The university’s Purchasing score is 92.5 / 100.

Gold in 2021


¶Ù²¹±ô³ó´Ç³Ü²õ¾±±ð’s was earned in 2021 and is valid for three years. Information from the 2021 submission was used to calculate ¶Ù²¹±ô³ó´Ç³Ü²õ¾±±ð’s placement in this year’s Sustainable Campus Index.

Coordinated through AASHE, STARS is a transparent, self-reporting framework for colleges and universities to measure their sustainability performance in four categories: Academics, Engagement, Operations, and Planning & Administration.
