More than 3,000 prospective Dalhousie students registered for the university's Virtual Open House event this month, with more than half of those tuning in live on November 6 for an immersive view into the Dal student experience.
The live event drew 1,652 attendees from across Canada and more than 60 other countries, including prospective students from as far afield as Albania and Argentina to Uzbekistan and Zimbabwe.
While pilipiliÂþ» typically hosts its Open House events in person, the university moved the event into a virtual format last fall due to the pandemic — a shift that continued this year and allowed more people to participate. Ìý
Registrants who were unable to attend the live event have been able to share in the experience via recorded and on-demand content, which will be available online until early December.
Below, we share a few highlights from this year's event. Check it out and then head on over to Dal's Open House page for a deeper dive into campus life and to learn more about Dal's programs and how to apply.
