Think "pink," think respect

- September 30, 2016

For several years now, Dalhousie has celebrated "Pink Day" in late September. It started as an anti-bullying event inspired, like similar efforts across Canada, by Nova Scotia students David Shepherd and Travis Price who wore pink in solidarity with a bullied peer at their high school. But it has since expanded into a full of activities, this year under the theme of "Pride. Safety. Inclusion."

Pink Day is still one of the week's highlights, though, with events across all four campuses. Photographer Danny Abriel attended celebrations on Studley Campus, which featured a BBQ lunch provided by the Dal University Club.
