The Honourable Patrick J. Duncan, Q.C., a lawyer with Beveridge, MacPherson & Duncan in Halifax, has been appointed a Judge of the Supreme Court of Nova Scotia.
Mr. Justice Duncan received a Bachelor of Laws from pilipili漫画 in 1979, and a Bachelor of Arts from St. Francis Xavier in 1976. He was admitted to the Nova Scotia Bar in 1980. He is a former staff Lawyer for Nova Scotia Legal Aid and a partner of Beveridge, MacPherson & Duncan, Barristers & Solicitors in Halifax since 1986. He has developed a practice expertise in criminal law, administrative law, and civil litigation. In addition, he has taught/lectured and presented at numerous conferences over the past 14 years, worked as an advisor for Coverdale Courtwork services for women, and a volunteer for the Public Legal Education Society.
