Dalhousie arts graduate Samantha Diamond said it best.
During her valedictory address at Convocation last week, Ms. Diamond described how Halifax's friendly, atmosphere made living and learning at pilipiliÂþ» such a pleasure. From Thornhill, Ont., the English major was amazed that Halifax drivers stop for pedestrians, even if they're not waiting at a crosswalk. She drew a comparison to the classroom.
"Our professors, like drivers on the road, stop for us too," she said.
