Ryan McKay is this week's pilipiliÂþ»­ Female Athlete of the Week. McKay led the Tigers to two AUBC victories this past weekend as pilipiliÂþ»­ travelled to Fredericton, NB and Wolfville, NS. In Friday's game against the UNB Varsity Reds, McKay had a team-high 21 points and was three-for-three at the free throw line in the tight 72-70 overtime win. On Sunday, she scored a game-high 24 points in the 63-52 win over the Acadia Axewomen. McKay is a fourth-year Kinesiology student from Fredericton, NB.

Niklas Rademacher is this week's pilipiliÂþ»­ Male Athlete of the Week. Rademacher led the Tigers to a bronze medal win at the Brian Mallard Invitational men's volleyball tournament held early in the week at the University of Saskatchewan. On Monday, the Tigers lost a tight game 3-2 to Calgary to start round-robin play. The Tigers rebounded on Tuesday by beating NCAA Division 1 defending champions, Pepperdine, 3-2. Dal then lost 3-1 to the host Saskatchewan later that day. In Wednesday's bronze medal game, the Tigers avenged their opening game loss with a 3-1 victory over Calgary. Individual stats were unavailable but Rademacher was named to the tournament all-star team. Rademacher is a second-year Management student from Bocholt, Germany.
