Have you ever wondered how you can bring more sustainable practices into your field of work or your personal life? What about the benefits of sustainability in business? If you're looking to understand different insights on sustainable living, our Exploring Sustainability course may be just what you're looking for.
Delivered in partnership with DalOpen and the College of Sustainability, this course will cover topics on food security, energy, fuel, and much more throughout this learning experience. It'll examine how to work with one another and bring varying viewpoints and skillsets together to contribute to the common goal of improving humanity through sustainability.Â
A wide range of themes will make it engaging and relevant for all learners. Unique viewpoints from historians, architects, political scientists, and climatologists are examined with guest speakers from diverse fields including Indigenous Studies and Engineering. The various perspectives will help you gain an understanding of the complexities of our changing world and the need for more sustainable practices across all disciplines and fields of work.Â
It's offered fully online with no mandatory live tutorials, so you can study where and when it works best for you. It's delivered through engaging media such as videos, readings, discussion boards, quizzes, and a small research assignment. It's open to anyone, no previous study or experience is required. You'll also have the chance to receive an academic record and academic credit that may apply towards the requirements of a degree program.
