Start Coding Early!

We know it's never too early to start your Computer Science (CS) career. We've compiled a list of Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math (STEM) activities to help kickstart anyone's coding career!

Events to Attend:

  • Ìýoffers engaging and innovative workshops, summer camps, clubs, and community events throughout Atlantic Canada that provide youth with rewarding experiences in STEM and nurture a life-long love of exploration, creativity, and academic achievement.
  • Ìýdesigns, delivers, and partners on technology education for Canadians and run programs for Ladies, Kids, Girls, Teens and Teachers. Canada Learning Code cover everything from introductory HTML & CSS, to WordPress, Python, Ruby, Responsive Design, Photoshop and more.
  • 's award-winning 4-phase program model provides young women in Grades 9 through 12 with opportunities to explore science, engineering, trades, and technology occupations, while creating awareness about the critical role of work in their lives.Ìý
  • Imhotep’s Legacy Academy (ILA)Ìýis an academic enrichment program, affiliated with pilipiliÂþ»­, which aims to increase the representation of African Canadians in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math) professions.
  • Ìýprogram is a ground breaking grassroots built Indigenous-led initiative of the Ulnooweg Education Centre that aims to create lasting foundational change for a new generation through the interplay of science, culture, education and innovation.
