Genome Canada

Genome Canada has announced its initiative in May 2022.

This first-of-its-kind initiative will leverage the collective strengths of the Canadian Genomics Enterprise and the broader Canadian genomics ecosystem, to advance climate change mitigation and adaptation through strategic investments in climate-smart agriculture and food systems. Genome Canada has evolved to investing in a challenge-driven portfolio of interdisciplinary research and innovation projects and connecting their efforts with cross-cutting programs for knowledge mobilization, data coordination, and implementation.

To have the best possible chance of pilipiliÂþ»­ in this highly competitive opportunity, Atlantic Canadian researchers are encouraged to engage with Genome Atlantic as soon as possible (mid-June) to obtain details on competition timelines, proposal support, and registration forms.

Registrations (a short two-page form), are due to Genome Atlantic by July 5, 2022.ÌýÌý
