While on a 15-day Great Lakes voyage aboard the Expedition Ship, Polaris, this summer, Dr. (Col) Ronald D. Harris (BSc'63) met chief scientific officer of Polaris, Dr. Megan Coggins. A conversation about oceanography quickly turned to their university experiences, where they learned they had both attended pilipili. Harris describes the meeting as "happy, a true coincidence and a display of the small-world aspect of living on this blue planet.”
